Wow, so it has been an incredibly long time since I last updated my site. Not sure if anyone even reads this anymore. Anyways, here's the 411 on me: started college last year and I'm in my second year now, although I'm almost junior-standing. Friend of mine died in May. . .had a rough time dealing with that. But that's life. It's real. You just have to deal and move on cuz things like that are always going to happen and they can't be stoppped so why dwell on them when you can do your grieving, deal with it, and move on. Not to say that he isn't on my mind now and then, but the memories are happy ones. Made the Dean's list last semester so Yay! for me. Trying to do it this semester and I if I keep my grades up where they're at I should have no problem. Can't wait for November. Not only is it my b-day month, but I am leaving for Boston for a few days to visit one of big brothers who attends school out there. I'm so excited about it. Anyways, not much is really new. Still the same ol' person at the same ol' college. Hope TT is reading this cuz I miss you and I hope you had fun in Chico this weekend. So Passover finally ended. Yesterday I waited only until I couldn't see the sun any more and then I had a sandwhich. Daddy made cookies so I had to have about four of those too. Life is back to normal. Samo and I finished Timeline on Friday and So we started Pitch Black today. Not bad so far. After this it will be the sequel Chronicles of Riddick. Yes, I am on a Vin Disel kick. He's a good actor. Not much going on, but then the week has only just started. More later. |

Another strange dream on Wednesday night. I dreamt that I went skydiving. It was weird cuz the instructor let first-timers go all alone. I was on the ground watching people come down. I turned to the instructor and asked why no one went with the skydivers and he just shrugged. Then I asked him how you know when to pull the cord and he said when you enter the atmosphere. I didn't even know that you left the atmosphere when you went skydiving. Twas indeed a most strange dream. Anyways, not much going on lately. Becca's concert was great ('cept the last piece - didn't like it all that much). Still, very good concert. Can't wait to see you tonight TT! Love and Huggles to everyone! |

Yesterday pretty much sucked. I was rejected from the Fullerton Honors Program cuz they said that my GPA, when they calculated it, came out to a 3.46 and the cutoff is is a 3.5. I think that's bullshit. I don't know how they came out to that calculation but it doesn't sound right at all. Oh well. . .I guess I'll just apply for the second semester entrance.
Today has been pretty good. Samo andI decided that since weget to school relatively early everyday then we should just sit in our cars and watch movies on her portable DVD player until our first class starts. Today we started Timeline, which is basically nothing like the book, Paul Walker is hot but sucks at acting, and Gerard Butler is the only thing that makes the movie enjoyable (him and Neil McDonnough).Got about halfway through it today and we'll finish it up tomorrow before moving on to Reign of Fire (also a Gerard Butler movie). Took the panoramic Senior picture. Sat with all my buddies and had a grand ol' time. Fun stuff. Now, I'm just sitting in Mrs. V's. Just me and my instant Matzah Ball soup (which is actually quite good).
Just because it popped into my head - I had a weird dream two nights ago. I dreamt that Samo and I were Power Rangers (she was pink, I was blue). Our team consisted of our favorite actors and Gerard Butler was our leader. I don't know where it came from, but it was amusing. We all knew martial arts such as woo shoo and we were kicking butt. Again. . .it was amusing.
Last night produced another strange dream. Kanal had told me yesterday that in ten years, he sees me as being a General in the Israeli army (cuz Danny T. and I always joke about it). Sothe dream was kind of about that. I have never been to Israel (not yet anyways) and yet all the surroundings screamed YOU ARE HERE with the little arrow on Israel. Again. . . more butt kicking, only this time, it was with an army and an AK-47. It was interesting. I think I should not have had that Chardonnay-flavored Sparkling grape juice before bed last night.
Really tired right now. Feel like I'm gonna fall asleep with my eyes open. I have done nothing but half sleep all day (and let me just say that half sleep dreams are no better than when you are truely asleep).
Sorry TT that we couldn't get the bowl set for mom. We'll find something else. . .no worries. I'm coming to see your concert tonight (I have a ton of homework but I am more than willing to foresake it to finally see another one of your concerts). Can't wait to see you.

Ah yes. . .the joy that is Passover has finally begun. Saturday was the most hectic day of my life. Woke up early to go get ome breakfast at the bakery. . .the last bread I could have for a week. As we came back up the hill, we realized we didn't have half the ingredients for the seder. Ran to the store and then back home to attempt to clean the disaster I call home. Spent hours scrubing, and washing, and rinsing, and cleaning, and everything all over again. Oy! And to top it all off, my water wouldn't boil so I couldn't make my gnocchi's as quickly as I would have liked. Samo came. . .much excitement. We had wine. . . perhaps a bit too much as she kept misreading (such as "quick" instead of "wicked"). Searched everywhere for the afikomen only to have Dano reach up and pull it out of the lamp I was next to. Grrr. Seder ended with more wine and the fastest version of Chadgadyah I have ever heard. By the end of the song I could no longer tell the cat from the angel of death. To add to the stupidity, Samo and I thought it would be great to do some DDR. Never try playing Standard mode when you are slightly tipsy. . . it never goes over really well. Stopped to watch SNL and went to bed by about 1:30am. Sunday I did absolutely nothing and had so much fun doing it until I had to go to work. Now all that is left is to eat matzah for a week. Been doing that my whole life so it shouldn't be too difficult. Later for now. |

The limo deal is taken care of and everyone is happy again. Tomorrow we go to Disneyland!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited cuz we get to skip school for it. It's just gonna be me and Samo there and we are gonna dress alike (like we have all week. Today we are wearing pink and white). Cannot wait! Got my Prom dress last night. I totally love it. It is light blue with a silver and white floral design. It's a halter and is extremely long. My shoes, wrap, and purse are white. . my hair clips are pearls. . .my necklace is little diamonds as are my earrings and bracelet. Soooooooo exciting! Love my mommy so much. Weekend was fun. When I was supposed to be doing homework my video games suddenly seemed a lot more interesting. Kinda like now. Supposed to be doing work and I am updating instead. On Friday I asked the guy to Prom and he pretty much said YES but we have a few issues to work out. We're gonna talk about it today. Samo has a date too. We are very excited about this. This week is the Senior meetings week. Exciting cuz Thursday is the Senior Disneyland trip and it's just gonna be me and Samo going on all of the rides. Can't wait! Sittin' here with Samo, trying to avoid a very annoying junior that we cannot stand. We've been forced to retreat into a little corner of the room. Nothing much happened yesterday. It was actually kinda boring. Watched NCIS with dad - our weekly tradition every tuesday night. Stayed up after to watch Scrubs. Love that show. Not much to say. Nothing happened, nothing exciting anyways, so I leave it here for now. |

Yesterday ended better than it started. After school Samo and I went to grab a bite to eat at Subway and brought it back to my house where we were gonna watch a movie, but couldn't find the one we wanted due to the fact that Dano had it still. It's been a while now and he hasn't put it back. Anyways, since we had nothing to watch in the way of movies, we decided to try the soaps. We found one called Passions and left it on. It was quite corny. The only saving grace was that at one point a french/american (whatever he was) security guy pulled a gun and said to one of the characters "You're going nowhere". If any of you have seen Boondock Saints, you'd know why that line made me and Samo crack up. It was amusing. We watched Ellen, Samo went home, I cleaned my room, and mom and I watched the Miss USA pagent. California was one of the last two but got first runner-up which is amazing because CA never even makes it into the top 15 or 10 or 5 unless she's a blond haired person (which she wasn't. White and brunette all the way!). It was also amusing. Samo and I are gonna try a new soap next week. Maybe General Hospital, but we'll see when the time comes. I need to find a prom date. I have a few ideas but I don't know if they are going with anyone yet. I guess I'll find out when I talk to them. Wish me luck! ;) |

Back at school. This sucks. My Spring Break was soooooooooo boring. I did absolutely nothing except work, sleep, work, and get sick (and the concert at the beginning). I really wanted to do something but mom didn't. I repeat, this sucks. Don't want to be here at school. Got my homework done but I gotta skin a cat in Anatomy (yuck!). Tired of listening to people talk about their colleges, especially a certain friend who can't shut up about it. It's as bad as her talking about her former boyfriend. I'm sick of hearing about it. Yes, I am happy for her, but it's like she's bragging about it. I don't want to keep hearing about it! Grr! Anyways, my day is not starting off well. I wanna go home. Maybe if I click my little red shoes together three times and say "I wish I were home" it would take me there. . . . worth a try. . . |

Okay, so the U2 concert was friggin' AWESOME!!!!!!!!! That had to have been the best night of my life. It was amazing. Saw my friend David when I got to the Arrowhead pond. He had floor seats (lucky bastard) and even though he got there at 3pm (doors opened at 6:30) he was still number 158 to get in. Got my Vertigo t-shirt,a pin, and a poster. Happiness. Kings of Leon sucked, never really liked the band anyways. Becca and I were so jazzed about being there. So much fun! Concert was amazing. There was one song where he wore a bandana with the symbols of the Jewish, mulsim, and Christian faiths. So cool. Then there was a song where Bono talked about Freedom and equality for all, Africa in particular which seems to be his current national interest. He is so cool in that he is all for freedom and tolerance. Anyways, he made us all take out our cell phones and turned off all the lights so it looked like a sky with thousands of dancing blue stars. Again. . .Amazing. Sadness when the concert ended. Didn't want to leave. Oh well. Saw the rest of the movie WHALE RIDER. I cried. Everyone should see that movie. After the party at my boss's house on monday (housewarming party), Samo and I went to see SIN CITY. Another good movie. Kinda graphic, but really artsy. I liked it. So did she. Scary Elijah Wood though. He's a. . . .well, I won't spoil it. Just go see it. Very cool. Sick again. I hate colds. They should be optional. Like. . If you need an excuse to get out of something then order a cold. It's my friggin' spring break! I should NOT be sick. At becca's dorm right now. She got her suite for next year. Uber yay! Goin' down to the local coffee house later on and goin' shopping in the mornin'. More happiness to ensue. In fact, general happiness all around at the moment. Feel like crap, but it's a happy crap. Well, I be goin' now. Should read my lovely, amazingly absurd book. Yay. Later! |
